Hope everyone had a great Christmas and got a chance to hit the slopes, and if you didn't I hope you got some great gear for your next pow session. Today I just wanted to touch on a subject that to me is very cool and wish the respective companies in the business to follow suit. As most of you know and that are in the world of extreme sports that if you get hurt (which inevitably happens) making your living by providing entertainment and ambition to the rest of the fans, hospital bills and money for everyday living goes very quick. All your sponsors go away and the athletes are replaced the next day for the newest up and coming phenom. So we here at the blog and @ http://www.sawickied.com/, will be setting up accounts for non profit accounts and will give information on how to help an athlete when their world changes. We have a list of skiers, boarders, and BMX/Motocross athletes, but what we would like you as a reader and or company who knows of someone in need, or has a link to help someone out, please let us know ASAP, so that we can help get them back on their feet. Moreover, on a huge positive note, I know that the whole extreme sport community is quick to spread the word and makes sure that these athletes are not forgotten.
